What’s new about the material list 2019?

Here’s the UPDATE with the new entries

  • A big THANK YOU to all the readers spreading the word about this website. The community of German-speaking families abroad is growing and to reach out to them is challenging. The website was launched 2016 first in Australia and later globally and has attracted more than 40’000 visitors in 2018. The positive feedback is is a great motivation to continue to inform, connect and network with people wishing to foster learning German with German-speaking kids living abroad.

Did you know?

In 2019 more than 770’900 Swiss citizens lived abroad in relation to a population of about 8.5 million – around  11% . The number of Swiss expats is rising steadily and the same goes for Germans and Austrians abroad. Living in a different language environment is  increasingly becoming a temporary engagement. This has an important effect on all families living abroad and the education of their children.
